A next generation AI-native social space
Sponic Gardens is a new category: a destination social venue anchored on botanical engineering, with AI as the operating system — not a bolt-on. We're integrating fitness studios, a thermal complex, a food hall, a maker studio, an apothecary, and dense gardens into one warehouse-greenhouse hybrid in Warsaw. First doors open July 2026.
Most wellness concepts treat technology as an afterthought. We invert that — the physical space is designed around what AI can measure, optimize, and learn from. Plants, people, and code flourish together.
Build from zero
No corporate playbook, no legacy stack. You'll shape the entire digital platform from a blank repo.
Code touches physical reality
Your APIs control sauna temperatures, irrigation cycles, lighting zones, and spatial audio across the venue.
4-person team
You + the Builder + the Events Manager + the Founder. Everyone builds, everyone decides.
Privacy-first by design
Edge processing, no facial recognition, GDPR-native. Members get their own digital privacy agent.
You build the intelligence layer
Sensor integration, automation pipelines, music and sound systems, plant monitoring dashboards, member experience apps. You build with AI-native tools daily and ship production systems fast. You don't wait for tickets; you see the problem and prototype the fix the same afternoon.
Timeframe
Seeking to hire in late July/August 2026. Will consider immediate part-time work if compatible with other commitments.
What you'll build
- The AI operations platform — sensor data ingestion, environmental automation, real-time dashboards
- Member-facing apps — onboarding, booking, garden tracking, community features
- The IoT layer — soil, temperature, humidity, air quality, occupancy, PAR/lux across the venue
- Music and sound automation — AI-curated playlists, zone-based audio, crowd-energy detection
- Rapid prototypes — prove out ideas in days, not months. Ship, measure, iterate.
What we're looking for
- You build with AI — Claude, Cursor, Copilot are your daily tools, not novelties
- You structure agentic harnesses — the scaffolding, prompts, and guardrails that let AI agents do real work reliably
- You create robust software systems that scale cleanly and stay easy to debug under pressure
- You coordinate AI-assisted development across the team — setting up tooling, prompts, and workflows so non-engineers can ship production-quality work
- You make architectural decisions on technology stack and development tools — and own them
- Real-time, low-latency voice — TTS, STT, and streaming audio pipelines that respond in milliseconds, not seconds
- You select and deploy the right AI model for each task — matching capability, latency, and cost to the job
- Full-stack fluency — TypeScript, React, Python. You can ship a dashboard and a data pipeline in the same afternoon
- Real-time data — Supabase, edge functions, websockets, streaming architectures
- Comfort with hardware — you've connected a sensor, flashed firmware, or wired something that wasn't meant to be wired
- Self-directed — you see problems and build solutions without permission
- Polish + conversational English (or strong motivation to get there)
Nice to have
- Experience with agentic frameworks — LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, or similar
- RAG pipelines, vector databases, or prompt engineering at scale
- Plant science, controlled-environment agriculture, or IoT-for-growing experience
- Spatial audio, generative music, or sound design — Ableton, Max, or similar
- Previous early-stage startup experience — you've built something real from zero
Who You'll Be Working With
Four people, one warehouse, one deadline. Here's your team.
Sonia — Founder
Created the concept and is building from zero. Reviews your code, tests your prototypes, and fights for the resources you need.
Construction Builder
Turns your sensor specs into physical mounts, runs cable where you need it, and builds the spaces your software controls.
Events & Marketing Manager
Programs the events your dashboards measure, tests the member apps you ship, and tells the story of what you're building.
You'll never get this combination again
Most engineering jobs put you behind a SaaS dashboard. This one puts your code in charge of a 250-person physical venue with plants, water, heat, light, sound, and people moving through it. Every line you write affects the real world tomorrow morning.
You won't have a manager. You won't have a sprint planning meeting. You'll have a co-founding team that ships, a real budget for sensors and infrastructure, and the freedom to design the AI platform the way you think a 2026 social venue should actually work.
How We Work
A startup founding team. Not a job, a stake. Everything is up for negotiation, including what you read on this site.
Small team, full ownership
Everyone builds. Everyone decides. No tickets routed to a manager.
Open to pivots
Plans are commitments to think, not to a path. When the data says something different, we change course.
Ship, measure, iterate
Days, not months. Done is better than perfect. We earn the right to polish by getting something real in front of members.
Honest about stage
Pre-product, pre-revenue, pre-venue. We tell everyone the same story. Building in public.
